I started out as an in-house marketer growing major brands in the 80s and 90s. Then founded a marketing agency which grew to become the award winning Junction Advertising Group by the late nineties.
There were five years where I made some decent money, then the five challenging years where I made next to none. Over that time, I learned pretty much everything there is to learn about growing a business, rescuing it and ultimately shaping it to sell.
After that 10 year roller coaster I sold Junction then decided to put some of my learnings (and earnings) to good use. I became a trusted business mentor, investor and coach to some very talented individuals growing their own companies.
In 2012, I set up the BiY network, to support ambitious people running small businesses in and around Yorkshire. I also founded the Parkhill Business Centre, home to a vibrant 30+ SME community, which continues to thrive.
Fast forward to 2018 and the launch of our accountancy practice, E2E, which provides end-to-end financial support so often lacking from traditional accountants working with small businesses.
